Services and Costings:
* Assemblies - Key Stages 1-5: Varied, engaging assemblies explaining the nature of racism/hate crime, equality, religion, culture and communities with the goal of creating respect for all. We explore the effects of bullying/racism/hate crime and how to report it. We can deliver special themed assemblies eg "Understanding World Culture" or "The History of Diversity in the UK". Visual aids and live music are employed in our assemblies which can be altered to suit the school's priorities and needs. Length - Up to 40 minutes: £50
* Classroom Sessions - Key Stages 1-5: Engaging, well-paced lessons tackling racism, hate crime, identity, immigration, myth busting, Islamophobia, the Roma and Gypsy traveller community, terminology, discrimination and more. We employ quizzes, cultural artefacts, music, media, videos, famous role models, art and/or role play within our sessions. Length - Up to 1 hour: £65 (30 pupils maximum per session)
* Day Rate i.e. any combination of our services in 1 school day: £250 (a huge saving based on 5 sessions in a school day).
* Teacher/SMSA Training: Concept:Diversity offers a host of training to support staff to meet race equality, cultural competence, equality and diversity and cohesion objectives and obligations. Our training aims to educate staff for dealing with bullying/hate based incidents and in responding to the needs of various BME communities. Length - 1 hour: £90; Half Day: £200; Full Day: £350
* Individual sessions with victims: For Key Stages 1-5 (ages 4-19): Sessions created to empower; develop resilience and overcome detrimental affects of bullying and hate crime. Children and Young People are shown how to use school policies and procedures effectively. For multiple interventions a record of progress can be documented. Length - up to 1 hour: £65
* Individual sessions with perpetrators: For Key Stages 1-5 (ages 4-19): Sessions deliver activities and discussions, designed to increase knowledge, understanding and tolerance for different cultures and communities and to reduce racist, homophobic, disablist and all bullying. Our sessions also empower in order for recipients to be able to make informed choices in their future lives. Length - Up to 1 hour: £65
* Restorative Justice (RJ): Concept:Diversity can undertake Restorative Justice sessions following an incident. We can to work with all parties so the harmed can express their feelings, so that the impact of an incident is recognised by the harmer and ultimately to bring about greater understanding and a end to the likelihood of future similar incidents. * Complex Issues: Concept:Diversity can help with racist incidents or tensions emerging between different cultures, communities and/or minority groups in schools. Length - as required from £90 (TBC)
* Projects: For Key Stages 1-5: Concept:Diversity can make a contribution or take the lead on special projects which aim to promote equality, diversity and cultural and/or cohesion outcomes such as special school events. Length - as required from £120 (TBC)
* Specialist School Drop-in Service: For Key Stages 2-5: Concept:Diversity can offer a regular drop-in service for victims or perpetrators of racism and other hate crime to chat confidentially about any concerns or issues they have. Length - as required from £90 (TBC)
* Equalites Councils: Concept:Diversity can train and guide students to be culturally competant and ready to head out into the wider world. They will also be able to challenge bullying, racism and inequality that may occur around their school. Length - as required from £65 (TBC)
* School Appeals Advice: Concept:Diversity can assist schools that are preparing to attend school appeal tribunals with regards to equality issues. Length - as required from £90
